LOWER Clopton Farm Shop and Café at Upper Quinton is raising funds for local charity, Campden Home Nursing by selling pick-your-own sunflowers throughout August.

Visitors are invited to pick a sunflower for a donation of £1 per stem, which will go to Campden Home Nursing, and people are flocking to pick armfuls of the beautiful sunflowers.

The charity, which provides a hospice at home nursing and cancer support service to patients in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and parts of Warwickshire are delighted to be recipients of the sunflower donations this year.

Tracey Gardner, general manager at Lower Clopton Farm Shop, said: “This year we chose Campden Home Nursing to receive all the money raised from our Pick Your Own Sunflowers because they are a very important local charity who provide amazing support and nursing for those living with a life limiting illness who wish to be cared for at home, they are simply invaluable to our local community.”

Helen Makaritis, chief executive officer of Campden Home Nursing said: “Enormous thanks to the team at Lower Clopton Farm Shop and Cafe for their weeks of hard work and dedication to raising funds for us.”

Campden Home Nursing is an independent local charity based in Chipping Campden.

The charity provides free registered nursing care for those living with a life limiting illness who wish to be cared for at home, and holistic support for their families and carers.
