A new cocktail bar has opened in Stow-on-the-Wold.
The Old Stocks boutique inn has transformed its coffee shop into a “sumptuously furnished” 22-seater bar.
The Cocktail Lounge overlooks The Square and is open to both hotel guests and passers-by from 3-10pm Monday to Friday and 12-10pm at weekends.
Charlotte Tuck, business and brand development manager at the Old Stocks Inn, said: “We’re very proud to open our new cocktail lounge in the market town of Stow-in-the-Wold.
“Since our dramatic refurbishment of the Old Stocks Inn back in 2015 we’ve established a great reputation for our cocktail menu. Our new lounge marks the next step and brings something new to Stow’s tourism and leisure offering.
“Our resident barman and manager Pete Simpson has put together a new menu for the lounge, creating exciting cocktails for both our hotel residents, our restaurant diners and local residents, too.
“We’re proud to be shaking things up in the Cotswolds once again and can’t wait for our customers to see what we’ve created.”
The new bar features a creative menu developed by resident barman and manager Pete Simpson.
Concoctions on offer include Fool’s Gold, Notorious F.I.G and Fog, which involves a mixture of IPA, rum, brandy and gin.
In 2019 Old Stocks released the first edition of its own cocktail recipe book, The Old Stocks Little Book of Cocktails.
