A REMEMBRANCE installation was held in a village to uniquely pay tribute to those who fell in World Wars 1 and 2.
On Sunday November 1 the installation of the remembrance displays went to plan in Newbold on Stour in St. David's Churchyard and Newbold Village Green.
The displays are the product of a Covid-safe community team effort, with creative contributions from the Parish Youth Council, Newbold Sea Scouts Group, Newbold W.I. and Newbold and Tredington Primary School.
Nicola Wakeham said: " I am particularly impressed with the memory trees that Jasmine Wakeham has created - these say what happened to each man who did not return and also those who are remembered and buried in the churchyard. The painted poppy stones at Newbold War Memorial are stunning, and they reflect each Sea Scout being unable to parade in person on Remembrance Sunday."
