A COTSWOLD pub has been selected as the best in the county by the National Pub and Bar Awards.
The Hare at Milton under Wychwood scooped the accolade for Oxfordshire as the awards 94 top achievers from across the country.
Owners Sue and Rachel Hawkins said: “We are absolutely delighted to win the award and be recognized on a national level by our industry peers.
"Oxfordshire is stuffed full of really fabulous pubs, so to be named best in the county is such a thrill. We are celebrating our success with our wonderful team at The Hare by getting stuck into a few bottles of Champagne.”
The winning pubs, which have been chosen on overall best practice across a number of operational categories, will be officially crowned at a red carpet celebration in London on Wednesday, May 23.
