A WARRANT was issued to track down an alleged £17,000 clothes thief.
Christopher Thomas of no fixed address is accused of entering Henry's shop in Oxford Street, Moreton and stealing more than £17,000 worth of clothes.
Thomas, 41, was due to attend Gloucester Crown Court for a plea but did not attend and his solicitor, Joe Maloney, said he had no explanation for his absence.
Thomas allegedly committed the offence on March 2 last year and stole £17,002.92p worth of clothing.
Judge Jamie Tabor QC issued a warrant, not backed for bail, for Thomas' arrest.
