Brian Frederick 'Puffa' PALFREY

PALFREY Brian Frederick 'Puffa' Of Pershore. Former Manager of Lawrance's Bakery, Evesham. On January 19th, 2021, suddenly in hospital, aged 77 years. Son of the late Reg and Nellie Palfrey, beloved Father, Grandfather and Brother. Due to the Government restrictions, Brian's Service at The Vale Crematorium on Wednesday, February 10th will be private. Donations in his memory are invited for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, these may be sent to E Hill & Son Funeral Directors, Pershore, WR10 1HZ.

WHAT A SHOCK! Looking on Google News today I was very shocked to see that 'Palf' had died. I worked with Brian for many years at Lawrences, and have many memories of his very dry sense of humour and forthright observations.
He was a 'permanent fixture' in the bakery, from 6am to 6pm. I think we all secretly had a soft spot for Brian. Miss you old buddy!
