MAGGIE STEPHENSON It is with tremendous sadness that we say goodbye to Maggie Stephenson, who died peacefully in Redditch Hospital on Wednesday 28th October. Mum was a tremendous character who spent her life committed to public service, as a Teacher, Probation Officer, Social Worker and Town Councillor, even serving as Mayor of Evesham alongside her lifelong friend Jackie Hale as Mayoress. Mum was a free spirit and loved the outdoors, the farms of the Vale and the beaches and moors of North Yorkshire, her horses and dogs, family and friends. Funeral will be 25th November at Vale Crematorium, with a video link for those who would like to attend 'virtually'. Please contact the family if you would like to join. She leaves behind her children Mark, Paul and Helena, her grandchildren Anna, Leo and Lily, plus many others she collected along the way, who will all miss her terribly.
