NORTH Cotswold Community Radio (NCCR) is getting in tune after receiving a £950 grant from the Co-operative Bank.
NCCR received the money from the bank’s Community Directplus Customer Donation Scheme, which encourages sustainable improvement of communities, supports ecological and ethical developments and promotes diversity and education.
NCCR broadcasts on the internet and is based at Chipping Campden’s Old Police Station.
Robb Eden, NCCR’s chairman, welcomed the grant that was awarded shortly after the station received financial assistance from Gloucestershire Community Foundation.
He said: “We are a non-profit organisation, so these grants are our lifeblood.
“They will extend the opportunities we are offering to members of the community, from all walks of life, to find their voice and air their views.”
