A CHIPPING Norton drink-driver has been given a 12 week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months.
Ian Taylor, 48, of Hill Rise, Great Rollright, pleaded guilty before Cheltenham magistrates on March 8 to driving more than four times over the drink-drive limit.
Taylor was stopped on February 23 in Western Road, Stratford with 150 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
He was disqualified from driving for three years and ordered to pay costs of £135 and a victim surcharge of £80.
Taylor was also ordered to comply with an alcohol treatment requirement.
