NORTH Cotswold Community Radio has found a really cool home - it is moving into The Cooler in Chipping Campden.
The basement rooms of the Old Police Station were offered to the station by The Campden and District Peelers Trust. Bob Foote, vice chairman of the radio station, which is already broadcasting online test transmissions from their website at www.northcotswoldonline.com, said: "The rooms are ideally suited for our headquarters. We hope to install studio equipment soon and involve the community in the scripting, production, editing and broadcasting of programmes of all types, styles and subjects over the internet from The Cooler."
John Kohler, a director of the Peelers Trust, said: "We are delighted to have the North Cotswold Community Radio on board. They will make a great contribution to the community by offering a service to the traders and many other groups in the town and surrounding area.
"We are also encouraged to learn the radio will be looking for keen local volunteers from the age of 16 upwards, to help with production aspects of programming.
"We wish North Cotswold Community Radio every success in the future."
