TWO tonnes of straw were destroyed in a barn fire in the Cotswolds.
Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service was called at 6.49pm on Wednesday to Temple Guiting
after receiving several calls from the public.
A crew from Winchcombe and one from Stow attended and quickly gained control of the blaze with one main jet and two hosereels.
Despite the blaze destroying the hay, the barn structure itself was saved from damage.
Crews were on scene dealing with the incident for over an hour.
